What are the numbers?

-->
Looking for some statistics that are current, up-to-the-minute?   Want to know the world’s population at this minute and a projection for 2200?  Curious about how many  barrels of oil are being pumped today, e-mails sent or the new books published this year?  Need some facts about about health and the environment?  Check out Worldometers.  (http://www.worldometers.info)

You can watch the numbers change as you look at the web site.  During the few minutes it’s taken me to write this segment of this post over 300 people have been added to the population and 20 books have been published.

According to the website Worldometers is run by an international team of developers, researchers, and volunteers with the goal of making world statistics available in a thought-provoking and time relevant format to a wide audience around the world.

Take a look and watch the numbers grow before your eyes.
